Material Notes: 1KSP is a silicone modified polyurea dispersion “Powered by ReactAmine® Technology” designed for a wide range of rigid and flexible substrates such as wood, metal, vinyl, concrete and other plastic parts. 1KSP is an excellent primer for concrete, metal, PVC and wood prior to applying polyureas. A key application is coating concrete, polyurethane, and polyurea bed liners to improve weatherability and color retention. This product has been developed to exhibit a combination of film hardness, flexibility, good water and abrasion resistance, and excellent solvent resistance. This product can be ordered with antimicrobial additives. The 1KSP has anti-graffiti characteristics. 1KSP May be cross linked with a special water dispersible aliphatic isocyanate to improve chemical resistance and toughness. Levels of 5-10% based on solids, should be added. On porous concrete, it is recommended to first apply primer 1K59. This will fill up the pores in the concrete, yielding excellent adhesion to concrete. After the 1KP59 is dry to touch, apply 1KPSP clear or colored. Part of the Amber Chemical Group.
