Advanced Elastomer Systems Santoprene™ TPV 261-87 Thermoplastic Elastomer
Subcategory: Elastomer, TPE; Thermoplastic; Thermoplastic Vulcanizate Elastomer (TPV)
Key Words: EU 2003/11/EC; RoHS Compliant; UL QMFZ2; UL QMFZ8
Material Notes: A hard, colorable thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) in the thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) family. This material has good fluid resistance for use in wet electrical wire and cable applications. This grade of Santoprene TPV is shear-dependent and can be processed on conventional thermoplastics equipment for injection molding, extrusion or blow molding. It is polyolefin based and completely recyclable.Polymeric Materials for Use in Wire and Cable Information provided by Advanced Elastomer Systems
