Asahi Glass Co. Lumiflon® LF-910LM Solvent Soluble Fluoropolymer
Subcategory: Fluoropolymer; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Lumiflon was developed by Asahi Glass in 1982, and is unique being the first solvent soluble fluoropolymer. The FEVE based Lumiflon has a alternative copolymer. The complete inter-changeability between the Fluoroethylene and Alkyl Vinyl Ether gives excellent weathering and a high chemical resistance. LF-910LM is used for air dry systems, with its low VOC and high OH values it is an ideal coating for this application. It is now being used as a coating for aerospace and as heavy duty coating on bridges and water towers.Information provided by Asahi Glass Company, Inc.
