Material Notes: Lumiflon was developed by Asahi Glass in 1982, and is unique being the first solvent soluble fluoropolymer. The FEVE based Lumiflon has a alternative copolymer. The complete inter-changeability between the Fluoroethylene and Alkyl Vinyl Ether gives excellent weathering and a high chemical resistance. LF-302 has a UV absorber that makes it unique in the Lumiflon line. The LF-302 is used as a clear coat over plastic, metals, and paints.Information provided by Asahi Glass Company, Inc.
