Material Notes: Description: Capran® 526 is a blue-tinted, heat-stabilized blown film produced from modified nylon resin. It is available in widths up to 60 inches as layflat tubing and 120 inches as slit tubing. Thicknesses are 2.0 and 3.0 mils. In addition, Capran® 526 has excellent heat stability and resistance to pinholing and can be used at temperatures up to 450°F (232°C) for typical composite cure cycle times. Applications: Blown film is recommended as bagging film for advanced composite fabrication and other high temperature applications were softness, workability or anti-static characteristics are essential.
