Honeywell Stretch-Vac® 2000, Heat-Stabilized Blown Film
Subcategory: Nylon; Thermoplastic; Polymer
Material Notes: Description: Stretch-Vac® 2000 is a pink tinted, high elongation, heat-stabilized blown film produced from modified polyamide resin. It is available in widths up to 80 inches as layflat tubing and 120 inches as slit tubing. Thickness is 2.00 mils. It requires fewer pleats than conventional bagging films and has better flex-crack resistance. Stretch-Vac® 2000 can be used at temperatures up to 400°F (204°C) for typical composite cure cycle times. Applications: Stretch-Vac® 2000 blown film is recommended as bagging film for advanced composite fabrication where flexibility under adverse atmospheric conditions is essential.
