Material Notes: Designation ISO 12086-PVDF-E,GG1C,P.?E5.I.B.E.C,, ?(1.5-2.5) Kynar PVDF are fluorinated thermoplastic homopolymers. Outstanding characteristics of Kynar: chemical resistance, imperviousness to UV, high barrier properties, high purity, good mechanical and thermomechanical properties. Main applications of Kynar: corrosion protection in the chemical industry, coating (painting, coextrusion), off shore, wire and cable. Kynar 1000 HDC N 118 has the same properties than Kynar 1000 HD and is used in the same applications (compression and transfer molding, extrusion of thick walled parts: blocks, rods, plaques, tubes) but is black colored.
