Material Notes:
LACOVYL PA 1384 is a vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate (4 %) copolymer manufactured by microsuspension polymerization process for the preparation of plastisols and fuses at comparatively low temperature.

* MAIN CHARACTERISTICS

  • Viscosity index (ISO 1628-2):120 ml/g,(K value:69).

* APPLICATIONS

Because LACOVYL PA 1384 fuses at comparatively low temperatures it is particularly recommended in the following applications :

  • compact layer coating for synthetic materials (polyamides, etc.)
  • fixing of PVC sheets and textiles using a very fluid plastisol.
  • compact or foam layers for flocking, collage (wallpaper).
  • compact or chemically foamed layer for floor coverings.
  • production of protective mastics for car undersealing.
  • mechanical foam layer.
