Arkema Lacovyl® S 091 PVC
Subcategory: Vinyl; Thermoplastic
Close Analogs: Arkema, formed in 2004, was formerly Atofina Chemicals and before that Elf Atochem.
Key Words: Polyvinyl Chloride; Polyvinylchloride
Material Notes: LACOVYL SO 91 is a vinyl chloride homopolymer produced by a suspension polymerization process. Characteristics : - Viscosity index (ISO 1628-2):96 ml/g,(K value:62). Apparent density (ISO 60):0.56 g/ml.
- molecular weight specially chosen to obtain good mechanical properties whilst maintaining ease of processing.
- suitable for dry blend preparation providing a controlled feed to production machines.
- excellent base color and thermal stability.
Provides finished products with good transparency and free from fish eyes. * RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS - Extrusion blow molding of bottles with improved mechanical properties (pressure resistance for slightly sparkling drinks, stress cracking resistance for oils, detergents...). LACOVYL SO 91 is also recommended for biaxial orientation processes.
- Calendering or extrusion of rigid and semi-rigid film and sheet.
- Extrusion and highly transparent sheets and plates.
- Extrusion of rigid profiles.
- Injection molding of high mechanical properties articles.
* EXAMPLES OF APPLICATIONS PVC-U: - NAKAN RPS 400 M - NAKAN RPX 301 L ISO data provided by the manufacturer, Arkema.
