Arkema Lacqrene® 2551 Polystyrene, Heat Resistant
Subcategory: Polystyrene; Thermoplastic
Close Analogs: Arkema, formed in 2004, was formerly Atofina Chemicals and before that Elf Atochem.
Key Words: PS
Material Notes: High heat resistance, medium impact polystyrene Description LACQRENE 2551 is a high heat resistance, medium impact polystyrene for injection molding. The very high Vicat Softening Point of this grade gives moldings of high rigidity and a good dimensional stability at high operating temperatures. The fast set-up of this grade allows for the production of thick moldings with reduced sink marks. Applications: Injection CD inserts, disposable razors, toys, audio cassettes, cosmetics packaging, disposable lids. ISO data provided by the manufacturer, Arkema.
