Arkema Lacqrene® 3351 Polystyrene, Heat Resistant
Subcategory: Polystyrene; Thermoplastic
Close Analogs: Arkema, formed in 2004, was formerly Atofina Chemicals and before that Elf Atochem.
Key Words: PS
Material Notes: LACQRENE 3351 is a high heat resistance, high impact polystyrene for injection molding. It is recommended for the manufacture of articles which require good dimensional stability at elevated temperatures. LACQRENE 3351 gives a good compromise in the extrusion and thermoforming of sheet for hot-fill applications. Applications: Injection TV fronts, video cassettes, electrical components, coffee cups, dilution with crystal for CD inserts, extrusion Food trays where heat resistance is required. ISO data provided by the manufacturer, Arkema.
