AT Plastics Ateva® 2861A Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; LDPE; Polymer
Key Words: low temperature sealing, superior heat seal bonding and hot tack characteristics
Material Notes: Ateva® 2861A resin is well suited for extrusion coating and co-extrusion applications where low temperature sealing, superior heat seal bonding and hot tack characteristics are required. This EVA resin may be safely used as articles or components of articles intended for uses in contact with food as provided in FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1350 - Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, subject to extraction limitations on the finished food-contact article as specified in that regulation. It is recommended that the melt temperature be kept below 210°C as decomposition can occur at higher temperatures. Additives: AntioxidantApplications: Extrusion Coating & Laminating
