AT Plastics Ateva® 1609 Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymer
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; LDPE; Polymer
Key Words: superior strength and sealability
Material Notes: Ateva® 1609 is a co-extrusion resin with superior strength and sealability. This EVA resin may be safely used as articles or components of articles intended for uses in contact with food as provided in FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1350 - Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, subject to extraction limitations on the finished food-contact article as specified in that regulation. This polymer may be processed on conventional extrusion equipment. It is recommended that the melt temperature be kept below 210°C as decomposition can occur at higher temperatures. Properties listed are for a film produced on a 24:1 L/D, 40 mm extruder with a 100 mm die, at a melting temperature of 210°C. Additives: Applications: Flexible Packaging
