Material Notes: Borcoat BB127E is a chemically modified polypropylene copolymer designed to be used as the tie layer between the epoxy corrosion protection layer and the Top-coat polypropylene coating Borcoat BB108E-1199.Borcoat BB127E is delivered in powder form and can be applied with an ordinary epoxy powder gun. It has excellent adhesion to fusion bonded epoxy and polypropylene. Furthermore it has superior thermal properties and can be used at operating temperatures within the range of -10°C to 110°C, and up to 140°C for specific offshore projects.
