Borealis Borstar® HE6062 HDPE Black Jacketing Compound
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; HDPE
Material Notes: Borstar HE6062 is a black, bimodal co-polymer high density polyethylene (HDPE) compound produced using the Borealis Borstar process. It is characterized by balanced properties important in jacketing applications (i.e. low shrink-back, excellent stress-crack resistance, good melt strength and a wide processing window.) If however further reduction in shrink-back is required, please refer to the higher melt index Borstar grade HE6067 HDPE.Borstar HE6062 is especially well suited for jacketing of communications and power cables.
