Borealis Daploy™ WF420HMS High Melt Strength Polypropylene for Extrusion Coating
Subcategory: Polypropylene; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Daploy WF420HMS resin is a propylene-based, structurally isomeric polymer, which combines significantly increased melt strength with largely drawability of the polymer melt. Thus, the material is generally characterized by improved processability in polymer forming technologies where stretching flows occur.Materials, such as paper and board, coated with Daploy WF420HMS have high grease resistance. They can be submerged in boiling water for a certain period of time without deterioration. Daploy WF420HMS can be used in microwave oven applications. With a considerably low coating weigh a practically pinholes-free coating can be achieved. Information provided by the Manufacturer.
