Colorite Polymers Self Frosting™ 7811SF Vinyl Compound
Subcategory: Vinyl; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Description: Colorite has developed a new family of vinyl compounds to satisfy the needs of those who need a smooth, low gloss, low friction surface for the products that they produce. Historically, this was accomplished by using cold die techniques that reduced production rates by as much as 20%. This method also generates substantial amounts of scrap or rejected material due to imperfect frosting. Colorite SF compounds permit the user to maintain production rates with a uniform reproducible matte finish. Colorite SF compounds are available in non-toxic grades for the food and medical industries where the need for a low surface friction tubing exists and total transparency is not necessary.
