CPC - Vycom FLAMETEC™ CPVC Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride Sheet
Subcategory: Vinyl; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Flametec™ CPVC made from Corzan® 4910 white 120 compound is a high heat, corrosion resistant chlorinated polyvinyl chloride sheet. Because of its excellent corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures, it is ideally suited for self-supporting constructions where high temperatures are a concern. It can be used (depending on chemistry) up to 212°F. The Corzan® 4910 compound was especially designed to meet FM 4910 Clean Room Protocol and it is considered to be a non-fire-propagating material. Flametec CPVC sheet made from Corzan® 4910 compound is listed in accordance with the FMRC 4910 protocol and it has a class 1 rating in accordance to UL 2360e.FEATURES AND BENEFITS - Chemical Resistance- Stability after exposure to semiconductor process chemistry.
- Strength- Structural integrity to design process tools.
- Weldability- Flametec™ CPVC can be easily fabricated using conventional hot air and automated welding equipment.
- Fire Safe- Flametec™ CPVC compound is listed in accordance to FM 4910 protocol and has a class 1 rating in accordance to UL 2360.
