CPC - Vycom Ultra White™ PVC Advanced, UV (Ultra Violet) resistant sheet
Subcategory: Vinyl; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Ultra White is an advanced PVC formulation designed specifically for outdoor applications where resistance to ultraviolet (UV) degradation is critical. Tests show that Ultra White retards both surface oxidation and loss of physical and mechanical properties which result from exposure to solar radiation (sunlight). Performance tests indicate that Ultra White is up to eight times more resistant to UV damage than comparable PVC materials.FEATURES AND BENEFITS - UV Stable- Ultra White has a unique formulation that includes more "UV stabilizers" to effectively resist solar degradation.
- High Gloss- Ultra White has a high gloss finish that reduces absorption of heat energy which is another factor for damage from exposure to sunlight.
- Color- Ultra White has a bright white color that makes an ideal base color for printing and graphics.
- Strength- Ultra White has a high strength-to-weight ratio that assures extra wear resistance in applications which may be subjected to high impact stress.
- Workability- Ultra White has excellent machinability that allows it to be used for a wide variety of applications which may require forming, shaping and other fabricating operations.
