Petroquimica Triunfo Trithene® SX 9003 MDPE - Blow Molding
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; MDPE
Material Notes: The Trithene® SX 9003 resin is a medium density polyethylene (MDPE) with high molecular weight that presents excellent mechanical properties, thermal stability and high stiffness when compared with regular LDPE grades. These characteristics, associated with excellent processability, allow for the production of flasks with excellent surface finishing, transparency and high productivity. This grade also has very good deformation resistance at higher sterilization temperatures in autoclaves. Resin Trithene® SX 9003 is chemically inert and has no additives in its composition. These features allow its use in contact with foodstuff, medical and pharmaceutical goods, or other products that demand high packaging purity. This product complies with ASTM standard D1248-IIA5 and the requirements of The United States Pharmacopeia - Phisico-Chemical Tests Plastics, to contact with pharmaceutical goods.Applications: Flexible flasks for medical and pharmaceutical goods with sterilization possibility. Other small and medium size semi-stiff and transparent containers that need a good thermal resistance. Resin Properties: Compressed molded plate. Method ASTM D-1928, procedure C.
