Dow SE SLR-4610 Solution polymerized Styrene Butadiene Rubber (S-SBR)
Subcategory: Styrene-Butadiene; Elastomer, TS; Thermoset
Material Notes: SE SLR-4610 is manufactured by anionic solution polymerization using lithium initiator and is extended with 37.5 parts of aromatic oil in relation to solid rubber. It is a product with medium styrene and high vinyl content. The product is partially Sn-coupled and non-staining stabilized. SE SLR-4610 is widely used in the tire industry for the manufacture of high performance tires providing excellent balance between rolling resistance and wet grip, but it is also used to manufacture high-quality technical rubber articles. It is supplied in bales weighing 25 kg. Bales are wrapped in 50 micron PE film. At mixing temperatures above 110°C, the rubber can be processed with the packaging film. Information provided by Dow
