DuPont™ Bynel® 3126 Adhesive Resin
Subcategory: Ethylene Vinyl Acetate; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Bynel® Series 3100 resins are acid/acrylate-modified ethylene vinyl acetate polymers. They are available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene (PE) resinsApplications:Bynel® 3126 adheres to a wide variety of materials. It is most often used to adhere to PE, acid copolymers, and ionomers. The use of Bynel® Series 3100 resins can be advantageous in applications where acid-containing polymers, such as acid copolymers or ionomers, are to be combined with PVDC. Bynel® Series 3100 resins can be used in coextrusion processes including: blown filmcast film/sheetextrusion coatingthermal laminationPhysical properties Bynel® Series 3100 resins are typical of EVA resins with similar density and melt index values. The rheology characteristics of each grade are different, so one may be better suited than the others for a particular extrusion process. Information provided by DuPont™
