Material Notes: DuPont™ Surlyn® 1702SBR is a zinc-type resin made from ethylene/methacrylic acid copolymer. This resin has slip, antiblock, and chill roll release additives included in the resin to reduce the coefficient of friction (COF) of the coating, reduce film roll blocking, and prevent chill roll sticking. It can be used in both extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene resins.
