Material Notes:
Selar® RB 223 barrier resin is a pellet blend of nylon copolymer and a proprietary adhesive for nylon and polyethylene.Selar® RB 223 has been designed for use in blends with polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE, LDPE) in extrusion blowmolding of articles made with DuPont proprietary Laminar Technology. Its higher adhesive concentration versus Selar® RB 215 helps to preserve the pinch-off integrity. The DuPont Laminar Technology has also been used for other processes such as sheet extrusion and tube extrusion.
