Material Notes:
Nucrel® 2940is a tough, lightweight, easily processed ethylene copolymer resin. This resin is inherently flexible without the need for plasticizers. The resin can be pigmented, UV-stabilized for exterior applications and painted or plated for special decorative effects.

Typical Applications:

  • Heat sealable coating
  • Base resin for color concentrates
  • Metal coating
  • Dispersions
  • Paper coating
  • Nonwoven binding

Features:

  • Good adhesion to metal, glass, cellulosic and other polar substrates
  • May be processed into aqueous amines and alkali based dispersions
