Dow Tyrin® CM2136P Chlorinated Polyethylene Elastomer
Subcategory: Elastomer, TPE; Thermoplastic
Close Analogs: This former DuPont Dow Elastomers product line is now produced by Dow Chemical.
Key Words: Rubbers
Material Notes: 36% Chlorine. Tyrin® chlorinated polyethylene thermoplastic resins offer the compounding and fabrication industries end product properties in a range of hardnesses, and behave much like flexible PVC in many uses. Can be calendered, injection molded, or extruded into tough, chemical and weather resistent products that can also provide built-in ignition resistance. Performance highlights include: inherenr flexibility with plasticization; inherent chemical and ignition resistance; compatibility with PVC, PE, SAN, ABS, and other polymers, excellent low temperature properties, resistance to weathering, acceptance of fillers and heat/light stabilizers.
