Dow MAGNUM® 9095 ABS, High Gloss
Subcategory: ABS Polymer; Thermoplastic
Key Words: Poly(Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)
Material Notes: MAGNUM® ABS resins are thermoplastic materials which provide an excellent balance of processability, impact resistance and heat resistance as imparted by the various polymer compositions. MAGNUM ABS resin are available in a wide range of melt flow rates, impact strength and heat resistance for both high and low gloss applications manufactured by injection molding, sheet or profile extrusion and thermoforming. MAGNUM ABS resins offer a range of gloss and processability options for sprinkler and irrigation applications. Providing high tensile strength with a balance of flow and impact resistance, MAGNUM ABS resins are used in pop-up sprinkler bodies, risers and valves. MAGNUM 9095 is a high gloss high flow resin with a melt flow rate of 6 g/10 min. It offers easy processability with medium impact resistance to those sprinkler and irrigation applications requiring this type of performance. Data provided by Dow Chemical.
