STYRON® 478 high impact polystyrene resin is typically used in toys, housewares, and small and large appliances. It offers good balance of flow, toughness, and gloss. When used unmodified for the manufacture of food contact articles STYRON 478 complies with the US Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and Food Additive Regulation 21 CFR 177.1640. The regulation should be consulted for complete details.
