Dow PELLETHANE® 2363-55D Polyurethane Elastomer, Ether Based
Subcategory: Elastomer, TPE; Polyurethane, TP; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: PELLETHANE® 2363-55D elastomer is a polytetramethylene glycol based polyurethane elastomer used in healthcare applications. Its outstanding properties include superior resilience, low temperature properties, resistance to attack by microorganisms, and excellent hydrolytic stability. It allows sterilization by dry heat, ethylene oxide or gamma radiation. This resin (and other TPUs) should not be sterilized by use of pressurized steam. Its typical applications include catheter components, tensioning ligatures, tubing, connectors and fittings. USP Class VI test data for biocompatibility is available for 2363 series resins.
