Dow DOWLEX® IP-60 High Density Polyethylene
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; HDPE
Material Notes: DOWLEX® IP-60 resin is an improved processing high density polyethylene resin designed to offer excellent processability, good impact and top load strength required in thin wall injection molding. This resin is designed by optimization of the breadth, shape of the molecular weight distribution and peak molecular weight. It has demonstrated excellent processability over a wide range of molding conditions and in high cavitation molds. Typical applications are thin wall and food containers, promo drink cups, etc. It complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 (c) 3.1 for food contact applications. Data provided by Dow Chemical.
