Dyneon Fluorel™ FE-5641Q Fluoroelastomer VF2 + HFP Dipolymer
Subcategory: Fluoropolymer, TS; Elastomer, TS; Thermoset
Key Words: Vinylidene Fluoride, PVF2; Hexafluoropropylene; fluoropolymer, carbon black
Material Notes: Data provided by the manufacturer, Dyneon LLC. Incorporated cure polymer, 65.9%F in polymer with 22% Medium Thermal Carbon Black (N990), 2% MgO, and 4% Ca(OH)2. The FE series O-ring grades are the cleanest running Dyneon O-ring grade polymers available; provide excellent mold release & improved scorch safety. This allows molding at higher temperatures (>200°C) for faster cure cycles - resulting in parts with improved dimensional stability. FE-5621Q and FE-5641Q have lower mold shrinkage. Used in O-Ring Applications.
