Subcategory: Elastomer, TPE; Thermoplastic
Material Notes: Solprene 4580X is a linear multiblock copolymer of styrene and butadiene with high vinyl (>25%), having 45% of styrene content, most of this one appears like block polystyrene, which gives the polymer a thermoplastic behavior. It has a non staining antioxidant system FDA approved for use in food contact applications and is essentially gel free with a very clear color. S-4580X is used in formulations of adhesive and like modifier of impact for plastics. The product is at development stage and commercial sample are available upon request.
