Dyneon™ Fluorothermoplastics PFA 6515N Perfluoroalkoxy
Subcategory: Fluoropolymer; Thermoplastic; PFA
Material Notes: The excellent chemical temperature resistance of Dyneon™ 6500N PFA is available across a range of melt flow indices, for optimal processability. Dyneon™ PFA 6502N, the highest molecular weight grade (lowest MFI) offers maximum stress crack resistance and tensile strength. It is ideal for applications such as tubing and sheeting. Dyneon™ PFA 6515 and PFA 6525N are designed for higher speed or higher shear processing such as injection molding and wire insulation. Dyneon PFA 6500 series products achieve the excellent property balance for which PFA is known including wide service temperature range (-200° to +260°C), almost universal chemical and solvent resistance, outstanding mechanical properties, resistance to weathering, low friction/non-stick behavior, high dielectric strength, and flame resistance.Information provided by Dyneon, A 3M Company
