Eastman Chemical Polyethylene E6838-795F
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; LDPE; Polymer
Key Words: Good balance of properties
Material Notes: E6838-795F is a low density formulation with no slip or antiblock level. It is suggested for film applications that require a good balance of properties such as converter film for industrial packaging and general purpose packaging. List of Applications: E6838-795F meets the requirements of FDA regulations at 21 CFR 177.1520(c)(2.2) and may be used as a component of packages used for holding food during cooking. However, the polymer thickness in the form in which it contacts food shall not exceed 0.005 inches and contact is limited to non-alcoholic food because of a regulatory limitation for an adjuvant substance in this formulation.
