Material Notes: Applications PETROTHENE NA 814-000 is a low density homopolymer resin specifically developed for a wide variety of blow molding applications. This resin exhibits excellent gloss, an excellent balance of physical properties and good processability.
Certification NA 814-000 meets the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration regulation, 21 CFR 177.1520. This regulation allows the use of this olefin polymer in "…articles or components of articles intended for use in contact with food…" Specific limitations or conditions of use may apply. Processing Techniques NA 814-000 has been specifically designed to provide excellent processability and flow properties, yielding improved output rates and part appearance. This resin can be molded over a wide range of melt temperatures with a recommended range of 350°-500°F. Specific recommendations for conditions under which NA 814-000 should be processed can be made only when the end use and type of processing equipment are known.
