Material Notes: Applications PETROTHENE GA 616-050 is a linear low density polyethylene resin which can be dry blended with low density polyethylene coating resins to produce linear low extrusion coatings. LDPE grade NA 204-000 (0.918 density, 7.0 melt index) is the preferred low density polyethylene resin for this blend.
Processing Techniques Specific recommendations for processing GA 616-050 can only be made when the processing conditions, equipment and end use are known. The maximum recommended melt temperature for GA 616-050 blended with LDPE is 625°F. Suggested blend ratios can be obtained by contacting your Equistar sales representative.
