Total 3362 Polypropylene, Extrusion Grade
Subcategory: Polypropylene; Thermoplastic
Close Analogs: Total Petrochemicals now includes former Fina and Atofina plastics product lines.
Material Notes: Homopolymer extrusion grade with increased process stability for water quench slit film and monofilaments Low Water Carryover - FINA 3362 exhibits excellent low water carryover which allows extrusion at maximum line speeds. High Purity - Low catalyst residues in FINA 3362 allow extended processing runs without screen pack pluggage. FDA - FINA 3362 complies with all applicable FDA regulations for food contact applications. Recommended Applications - FINA 3362 is recommended for high-speed water quench slit films and monofilaments for carpet backing, rope, and cordage products. FINA 3362 is recommended for applications requiring especially low yarn shrinkage. Processing - FINA 3362 processes on conventional extrusion equipment with typical melt temperatures of 400-500°F (204-260°C) Data provided by the manufacturer, Total Petrochemicals.
