Total Lacqrene® 1540(EU) Crystal Polystyrene
Subcategory: Polystyrene; Thermoplastic
Close Analogs: Total Petrochemicals now includes former Fina and Atofina plastics product lines.
Material Notes: LACQRENE® 1540 is an easy flowing crystal polystyrene designed for extrusion or injection applications. In extrusion, it improves extruder output and thermoforming cycle times when mixed with a high impact polystyrene such as LACQRENE® 7240. Having high gloss, it is particularly suitable for glossy-layer co-extrusion. In injection molding, 1541 possesses low viscosity at high shear rate. It does combine excellent fluidity with a higher softening point that 1810/1811. Application Dairy sheet, Cups, Coextrusion crystal, Boxes, Petra dishes, Medical products, Office equipment - e.g. filling trays, CD boxes, Pen bodies, Internal fridge parts.
