Finathene® 49080 UV, HDPE blow molding
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; HDPE
Close Analogs: Total Petrochemicals now includes former Fina and Atofina plastics product lines.
Material Notes: FINATHENE® 49080 UV is produced by the slurry loop low pressure polymerization process. FINATHENE® 49080 UV is a U.V.-stabilized, high molecular weight pelletized resin, intended for the production of containers with a high impact strength, an excellent stress-crack resistance and a low creep under load. FINATHENE® 49080 UV is specially recommended for the blow-molding of Heating Oil Tank and large containers (IBC) dedicated to the transportation of dangerous goods (UN-regulations). Applications: shipping containers, industrial chemical tanks, intermediate bulk containers, agricultural chemical tanks. Blow Molding Stock Temperature 370 – 440 ºF Information provided provided by Total Petrochemicals.
