Finathene® 53140 HDPE, blow molding, sheet
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; HDPE
Close Analogs: Total Petrochemicals now includes former Fina and Atofina plastics product lines.
Material Notes: Finathene® 53140 is a high density polyethylene produced by the slurry loop low pressure polymerization process FINATHENE® 53140 has been especially developed for the manufacturing of blow molded bottles for aggressive liquids and the extrusion and thermoforming of sheets. This resin offers an optimal balance of processing and end-use characteristics in terms of resistance to environmental stress cracking and stiffness. Finathene® 53140 is best processed at temperatures between 180 and 220°C. Information provided provided by Total Petrochemicals.
