Finathene® SR 572, HDPE, blow molding
Subcategory: Polyethylene; Thermoplastic; HDPE
Close Analogs: Total Petrochemicals now includes former Fina and Atofina plastics product lines.
Material Notes: FINATHENE® SR 572 is a high density polyethylene produced by the slurry loop low pressure polymerization process. FINATHENE® SR 572 has been developed for the manufacturing of blow molded bottles for aggressive liquids and extrusion of thin sheets (< 5 mm). This new generation resin offers an optimal balance of processing and end-use characteristics in terms of resistance to environmental stress cracking and stiffness. FINATHENE® SR 572 is best processed at temperatures between 180 and 220°C. Information provided provided by Total Petrochemicals.
