Material Notes: Homopolymer Applications: Biaxially oriented film. Formolene 1102K is a high molecular weight, highly isotactic polypropylene homopolymer designed for extrusion processes, notably biaxially oriented film. It contains a unique combination of stabilizers which give it process stability and end use performance. It does not contain slip or antiblock. Meets all requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles intended for direct food contact.
