Material Notes: Homopolymer with Nucleating, Antistat Additives Applications: Appliance, closure and thin wall applications. Formolene 4142R is a low viscosity, highly isotactic polypropylene homopolymer designed primarily for appliance, closure and thin wall applications. It contains a unique combination of stabilizers including nucleators and antistats that give it an excellent balance of stiffness and toughness. Formolene 4142R fills molds easily and sets up quickly. Meets all requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles intended for direct food contact.
