GE Silicones SLA7401-D1 Silicone Laminating Adhesive, Thermal Cure
Subcategory: Silicone; Thermoset; Polymer
Close Analogs: GE Silicones became a part of Momentive Performance Materials in 2006.
Material Notes: SLA7401-D1 silicone laminating adhesive is a translucent, paste-like, two component product which is ideally suited for laminating applications and is screen printable for thin film adhesive deposition. SLA7401-D1 has a very long catalyzed work life at room temperature, but cures very rapidly at elevated temperatures. It will bond to many different types of substrates, including polyimide films, without the use of a discrete primer. Mechanical and electrical properties for 75 mils thick specimen cured 1 hour at 150°C. Key Performance Properties: - High Bond Strength in Thin Films
- Fast Cure at Elevated Temperatures
- Primerless
- Adhesion to Many Substrates
- Long Room Temperature Pot-Life
- Convenient 1:1 Mix Ratio
- No Cure By-Products / Low Shrinkage
- Excellent Heat-Age Properties (High & Low)
- Excellent Solvent Resistance Properties
- Outstanding Thermal Cycling Performance
