EMS-Grivory Grilon® BG-15/2 Nylon 6, 15% Glass Fiber Filled, Dry As Molded
Subcategory: Nylon; Thermoplastic; Nylon 6; Polymer
Material Notes: Grilon BG-15/2 is a 15% glass fiber reinforced nylon 6 grade for injection molding. This grade exhibits an excellent mechanical property profile, offering a unique combination of strength and rigidity along with outstanding toughness. Characteristic of nylon, Grilon BG-15/2 offers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and greases. Where electrical insulation properties are important, it provides high tracking resistance. In addition, Grilon BG-15/2 provides excellent long-term thermal stability and has received outstanding levels of UL Temperature Index Recognition. Easily processed by injection molding, Grilon BG-15/2 characteristics allow for lower molding pressure that minimizes glass fiber orientation, reduce warpage and provide superior surface finishes. Grilon BG-15/2 has the excellent strength and rigidity characteristics expected of high performance glass fiber reinforced nylons. Information provided by EMS-Grivory
