EMS-Grivory Grivory HTV-5H1 High Temperature 50% Glass Reinforced Nylon (Dry as Molded)
Subcategory: Nylon; Thermoplastic; Polymer
Material Notes: Description: Injection molding grade based on copolymers nylon 6T/6I, reinforced with 50% glass fibers. Very effective at application temperature up to 248°F. Thermal pulse stress possible up to 572°F (soldering). Heat stabilized, dimensionally stable, low water absorption, high resistance to chemicals, good resistance to automotive media (gas, oil, brake fluid) also at high temperatures. Approved to ANSI / NSF Standard 61 (Natural & Black only) and WRC for cold and hot water up to 95°C. Application Examples: Stiff, dimensionally stable technical components in engineering and the automotive and electro fields. Functional parts in contact with chemical and high performance at application temperatures of up to 248°F. Thermal pulse loading as found in industrial soldering processes is possible up to 572°F with parts made of Grivory HTV-5H1. Data provided by EMS-Grivory.
