PolyOne Catize® WBP-3 Inherently Conductive Polymer/metal mixtures

Material Notes:

Description/Features:

  • A mixture of an Inherently Conductive Polymer and metal particles.

Applications:

  • Coil coating
  • Industrial maintenance coatings
  • Marine Coatings
  • OEM coatings
  • Rebar & Bridge Coatings
  • Fastener Coatings

Processing Method:

  • Can be processed with normal dispersing equipment, such as high speed dispersers
  • for optimal results, contact PolyOne's technical staff to determine recommended processing.

Catize WBP-3 has been tested in several finished coating formulations as a post-add additive. It performs better on non-pretreated surfaces. Adequate cure time should be allowed prior to accelerated corrosion testing. Topcoating is not required for excellent salt spray results.
