Material Notes:

This concentrate has been designed for in-plant blending with appropriate natural high density polyethylene pipe resins to produce pipe with PE 2406 or PE 3408 ratings. 2116 Black PEC is manufactured to produce pipe free of surface imperfections with minimum screen pack plugging during extrusion. The carrier resin and stabilization system has been selected to maximize the physical and environmental properties of the pipe. A furnace carbon black has been selected to maximize processibility, while providing good outdoor weathering capability.

Note: In order to meet requirements of the Plastics Pipe Institute (PPI), the pressure performance of pipe extruded from these blends must be verified. In-plant blending conditions and quality control procedures are important to achieve quality product, which will continue to meet these conditions. 2116 Black PEC is designed to be used at a 6.5% letdown rate in PPI TR-4 listed blends.
