Description: EUROPLEX® O is a novel orthopedic material with the following properties:

successor product to PLEXIDUR® O
good impact strength (comparable to polycarbonate), making it virtually unbreakable
The relatively light inherent color makes orthopedic aids very unobtrusive to wear, and enables pressure points to be identified during fitting
Shows very good X-ray transmission, so that ortheses do not need to be removed during X-ray examinations
Easy to process: EUROPLEX® O can be thermoformed from 90° C onwards
Further important aspects in connection with medical devices: EUROPLEX® O is not attacked by perspiration (good chemical resistance), is physiologically unobjectionable and has a perfectly smooth surface
It is therefore easy-care and hygienic
Available as transparent sheets in thickness of 2.0 to 5.0 mm
