Material Notes: Description: PLEXIGLAS® Clear Film 99845, based on polymethyl methacrylate and polybutyl acrylate elastomers, is absolutely crystal-clear. The film shows very good weather resistance and offers substrates excellent protection against natural UV radiation, of which it absorbs more than 98 %. Moreover, the film is resistant to stress whitening. The UV absorber is chemically bound and is not susceptible to migration. Specific Notes for this Material: PLEXIGLAS® Film 99845 is suitable as a UV and weather protection film for colored or grained PVC window profiles and for protecting sheets and profiles made from PVC or glass-reinforced polyester. It offers UV protection for garden furniture with decorative surfacing as well as UV protection and upgrades surfaces for outside doors made of PVC or ABS. Information provided by degussa.
